PS3 Qore on the E3 2009

On episode 14, July 2009, Veronica Belmont of PS3 Qore talks Modern Warfare 2 with Vince Zampella.

Currently only available in North America, Qore is a subscription-based online magazine for the PlayStation Network. It brings high definition videos, interviews and behind the scenes footage on recent and upcoming games right to your Playstation 3.

In it's latest episode (ep. 14, July 2009), Veronica Belmont went to the E3 2009 to cover all the upcoming games for PS3 Qore and, of course, visited Infinity Ward for the preview of Modern Warfare 2.

PS3 Qore Intro

Because it's PS3 only, we'll have to do with lesser quality than seen on your PS3. If you would like to see this episode in HD, you can download single episodes for $2.99 (again, US only... *sigh*).

Don't Vince and Veronica make a cute couple? ;)

When asked about Infinity Ward want's to do different in Modern Warfare 2 opposed to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare:

Vince: We just want to make sure we don't disappoint the fans, we've got this huge fan base that has supported us for so long. We're a popular multiplayer for almost 2 years now. We just want to make sure to bring the things they want and they've asking for. We want to build something newer but don't ruin what we've had before.

Gameplay

Vince:We bring variety. We want to mix it up in locations so it's a global conflict and you'll travel all over the world, but we want to give you something new to the player every level. It's an A.D.D. game, Infinity Ward likes to joke around in the office.

Direct sequel

Vince: We get a lot of questions on the fate of characters, certain characters, "are they alive or are they dead"... The shootout in the end of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the bridge was so chaotic, who knows what has happened. A lot of those fates will be determined and some might not...
