Zampella talks Modern Warfare 2

Most of the time it's Robert Bowling, community manager, that does the talking — not this time.

But then again, nothing we didn't already know... Though it's nice to hear Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is in the Guinness book of records!

So story narrative is very important for us at Infinity Ward, we push the story in ways — we want the player to be emotionally attached. We want them to be emotionally shocked. And with Modern Warfare 2 we did a lot of things that broke the conventions of normal gaming and we're continuing to do that.

Multiplayer is a huge component of the original Modern Warfare. We received a Guinness book of records for the "most online played console game". It was 13 million unique users!
