Task Force 141

TF141 is an international task forceelite military unit made out of Navy Seals, Delta Force, British SAS and the CIA dedicated to hunting down terror targets. The name is based on actual task forces send out in real life missions. Every time they go out on a mission they change the number and we happen to follow the (fictional) story of Task Force 141. In real life, TF121 was the team that took took down Saddam Hussein and Task Force 145 has been tracking Osama bin Laden in 2006. Where TF141 fits into this timeframe is unknown.

Ultranationalists Party

The Ultranationalists are a political and military group in Russia who wish to return Russia to a Communist state, as it once was during the days of the U.S.S.R. They believe that the Russian Federation does not have the best interests of the Russian people at heart, siding with Western interests both philosophically and economically, which they perceive to be destroying or weakening Russia. Now that General Zakhaev has been murdered in the end of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it has opened a door for Vladimir Makarov --a formal associate of Zakhaev-- to take the leadership.
