M4A1
Impressions:Benkeeps— Coming off of Call of Duty 4, I expected the M4A1 to be as versatile as the M4 Carbine. Truth be told, it is still quite a flexible weapon, but it lacks the proliferation that comes out of a well-rounded weapon. That 'best of show' title has to go to the SCAR-H, but instead what comes out of the M4A1 is an accurate piece that can be employed more tactically than other weapons, akin to its real-life counterpart. In my career as of yet I have seen Bling used with the M4A1 more so than any weapon. Now, this might be a stretch, but I see it becoming the MP5 of MW2. Right now that spot is slowly being taken by the UMP, but I think the shift will happen later in this games career, as soon as the experimentation begins to die down. Blackhawk— M4a1, lovely all around weapon, good damage, good RoF, good accuracy. With its good damage, I would recommend something along the lines of a Silencer, HBS and Coldblooded (with its high damage stopping power is pointless). This makes it a very nice weapon to use on the stealth classes that everyone has. Its high RoF makes it possibly the best assault rifle for CQB, most would just "spray and pray" whereas the tapping in and out of ADS seems to work nicely along with SoH Pro. With its high RoF it can lack reliability at longer ranges. Overall its a very nice weapon and should be used from early on. |
