• Alongside the F2000, the TAR-21 features a unique Red Dot Sight online, called the "Mars Sight" in Single Player.
• It is unusual to see a TAR-21 used by the Russians, as they do not have an extremely good relationship with Israel, where the weapon is produced.
• The TAR-21 was confirmed before the release of the game by IW community manager Robert Bowling, aka fourzerotwo.
