Game modes

• Selective fire variant of the Glock 17
• Magazine Size: 32 rounds in Single Player | 33 rounds in Multiplayer | 49 with Extended Magazines.
• The G18 has the highest rate of fire of any weapon in the game, spewing 1100 rounds per minute - 2200 if you use them with Akimbo.
• Stopping Power is almost entirely useless with the G18, as the sheer rate of fire means that it will save only one bullet.
• When used with Akimbo, the G18 is surprisingly effective, even without Steady Aim and at medium ranges. At close range, the G18 with Akimbo is capable of competing with any of the shotguns, and can win in cases where the carrier starts firing before the shotgun enters its one hit kill range.
• Infinity Ward shortened the name of the weapon to G18, though they originally intended to call it by its proper name, the Glock 18 or Glock 18C.
• According to the first person view, the G18 is held one handed, though in third person mode, or when spectating another player it is held with both hands.
• The G18 has some of the worst recoil of any gun in the game, and as such it is actually inadvisable to aim down the sights.
