Impressions:

Benkeeps— Many claim this gun as being one of the overpowered guns in MW2, but I beg to differ (even when the data collected here supports that claim). Yes, the UMP is the most powerful SMG. Yes, it is the SCAR-H as that is to assault rifles. All of that good stuff. But here's the thing. The UMP is great as an SMG, yes, but out to distance you're having some pretty serious issues with recoil. There's no keeping the RDS sight on target without an effort, like the ACR, and in that way IW did a right job in balancing the UMP, as well as making it realistic in the fact that it fires a heavy .45 round, so it should recoil a lot (as for the Vector, that's a different bone to pick). It's slow ROF makes this recoil some-what controllable, but again only at relatively close ranges. Of course, the numbers above support the UMP's ability to still kill at distance (a low and constant 3 rounds at many ranges), but that's when care is taken in each shot. Don't expect the crosshairs to fall very nicely back into place– this is no weapon to deal with long-range face-offs.

Blackhawk— The UMP, brilliant weapon. Overall, statistically more powerful than any AR and has some awesome RoF. Power is unmatched, in my eyes this is overpowered, as the Vector fires the same .45ACP round but has half of its damage. It's recoil is very "bouncey" which can make it lack reliablity at range but this weapon can be tamed by the experienced and can use the recoil very effectively. Personally I only used this to get the mastery, as my favoured SMG is the Vector (as many already know). But I would definitely recommend this to new players, but the vet's should go for something like the Vector or something that takes skill like the intervention
